This page explains how I handle copyright issues on Unseen Northeast India.
If you think something on this site uses your work without permission, you can report it. I follow the rules under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) of 1998.
Before You Report
Make sure the material you’re reporting actually breaks copyright law. If you’re not sure, talk to a lawyer first.
You’ll need to share personal info in your complaint. If you don’t want to do that yourself, you can ask someone else—like an agent—to do it for you.
What Happens When You Report
When I get a copyright complaint, I’ll review it carefully. If it looks valid, I may remove or block the content.
If I take something down, I’ll do my best to let the person who posted it know.
